HQ & HJ Sandman Decals
The HQ - HJ Sandman Decals were supplied as a full kit with fitting instructions and applicator pad in a cardboard box that when folded in reverse revealed the advertisement of  a brand of claret (a type of red wine). The part number for these decal kits was usually indicated by a fluorescent label either orange or green. The part number for the black kit was LH - M37487, RH - M37488, and for the white kit LH - M37481 and RH - M37480.
Note: (RH = Right Hand, LH = Left Hand)

The decals featured large black waves that approximate the crease inset in both the front guard and doors, and rear quarter panel. The entire decal kit was produced through screen printing with exception of the Sandman logos. These logos were vinyl cut and contrary to popular opinion did not feature on the tailgate of these vehicles. The tailgate of these decal kits featured a large framed block, the Sandman logos were fitted to the 'b' pillar.

HQ - HJ Sandmans were fitted with either white or black decals. There has been some conjecture that a royal dark navy blue set was available from the factory, however there are no listings to support the existence of this colour scheme.

The general fitting guidelines for HQ - HJ decals are as follows:

Black decals were fitted to: white, yellow, orange, red, brown, gold, and green sandmans (Most factory material featured a yellow and orange/red Sandmans that had black decals)

White decals were fitted to: only blue models as far as I am aware.
